BLACK WOMEN'S WELLNESS CONFERENCE OF NEW ORLEANS™

The Black Women’s Wellness Conference Of New Orleans™ was established in 2016 in New Orleans, Louisiana to promote mental health and wellbeing in Black women. At the BWWC, we believe that Black women who have healthy minds, bodies, and spirits can have healthy ties to their communities. T.I.E.S. represents four core values:

TEACH
We believe that Black women’s lived experiences are valid sources of knowledge and meaning.

INSPIRE
Black women’s lives matter! We believe that when we give ourselves permission to live unapologetically, we inspire others to do the same.

EMPOWER
We believe that when Black women uplift and build one another up, we are powerful.

SERVE
We believe that it is not the individual responsibility of Black women alone to serve but rather a collective responsibility of the whole community.
